Default Backpack and Tarp Tent

I'm looking for a used backpack, up to 4 pounds or so and also a tarp tent with the web netting for keeping little critters out...

Default Tarp tents

Several years ago, I bought a Contrail tarp tent made by Henry Shires (tarptent.com) for $199, and it is worth every single penny. It weighs less than 2 pounds (24 oz), uses a hiking pole, and sets up easily. I've used it on the AT doing long section hikes (@ 200-300 miles), in rainstorms, and have been very happy with it. Also, it has enough space that I can fit my backpack and all my stuff in the tent. When I did the Shenandoahs, my husband joined me, and we had no trouble fitting both of us in to sleep comfortably.

I have a Granite Gear Ki backpack that weighs about 3 pounds, empty, and I love that, too. It fits 3800 cu. in. of stuff and has a front panel that stretches, so I think I've fit more than the max in it. It opens up by zipping completely down the front for easy access to the top or the bottom during the day. It's the best pack I've used in my years of backpacking.

I'm not selling any of my stuff, but I'm sure you can find them online.

I was looking for a tarp tent the other day, and I came across a website. I think a Mesh Tarps would be a ideal option for you. It keeps you shaded and yet lets air in! I love mine!

Be careful buying and selling stuff on WB. I got ripped off one time and the admins laughed at me. There is no recourse, like there is for eBay or other legit sites.
